Frigidaire Dryer Parts are Essential for Good Maintenance

Dryers are essential appliances that get a lot of use in your home. Just look at laundry day: piles of clothes in and out all day long. And laundry day happens every week or two at least.

At Frigidaire, we want to help you keep you dryer running at its best, no matter how tough your laundry days may be. With our selection of Frigidaire dryer parts, it can be easy to repair and maintain your dryer so that it runs efficiently and effectively. Speaking of maintaining, Frigidaire also has several tips to help you perform routine dryer maintenance both with and without Frigidaire dryer parts.

The Dryer Exterior

Your dryer exterior needs to be kept up so that your laundry room runs at its best. Try adding vibration isolation pads to reduce floor scuffing and noise. You can also use appliance touchup paint and appliance cleaners to keep your dryer looking great. You can find Frigidaire dryer parts, cleaners, and accessories for your dryer exterior in our selection.

The Dryer Interior

The interior of your dryer is also incredibly important to take care of. In terms of maintenance, you should try to check inside the dryer cabinet at least once per year and clean it out if necessary. Lint that escapes the lint filter usually starts to build up inside.

The Dryer Vent

Your dryer vent is an important part of you dryer’s operation, but it can also prove to be hazardous if not well maintained. Check your dryer vent at least once per year for any build-up. If you use your dryer frequently, check more often. If you find build-up, lint, or debris, remove it from the vent pipe so that it doesn’t create another clog. If you’d like you can also use a vent brush to tackle lint build-up.

The Lint Filter

Always check and clean your lint filter after every drying cycle. If you find that there’s a lot of clogging and gunk due to fabric softener residue, clean your lint filter using a mild detergent and a soft bristle brush. Also, try to vacuum out the area under the lint trap at least once every few months to avoid unnecessary lint build-up. If there’s a rip or tear in your Frigidaire dryer lint trap, always be sure to replace it with the appropriate Frigidaire dryer parts.

Caring for your dryer and keeping up with its maintenance can be easy. Try these tips, and our selection of Frigidaire dryer parts, to make sure that your laundry room runs at its best.
